Just three months after launching in South Africa, Jetour’s new T2 has already built a growing customer base, attracted significant media attention and this week the Jetour T2 was announced as a finalist in the South African Car of the Year awards.
Having already sold over 1500 vehicles in South Africa alone, the Jetour T2 has impressed the Car the Year jury.
Sponsored by Old Mutual Insure, this year marks the 40th edition of these prestigious awards, organised by the South African Guild of Mobility Journalists (SAGMJ). From an initial list of 30 semi-finalists announced at the end of last year, this week saw the finalists announced, all of which will undergo an intense three-day evaluation process before the winner is announced in May.
"Since first launching in South Africa in September 2024, the response to Jetour in South Africa has been incredible, and I couldn’t be prouder of what our team has accomplished. Being selected as a South African Car of the Year finalist for our T2 is a true reflection of what the Jetour brand stands for - offering the best quality vehicles. Every member of our Jetour team, both locally and internationally, has worked tirelessly to deliver quality cars and service that our growing family of customers can trust,” says Vice President of Jetour South Africa, Nic Campbell.
